About Me
I completed a Masters of Science degree in Exercise Physiology after two very fulfilling years at the University of Illinois at Chicago! I also began my teaching career while there; I had the opportunity to instruct four different kinesiology courses! I had fun, learned a lot, but most of all I’m going to miss my students. It’s been a very exciting, action-packed time for me and now I’m looking forward to a fantastic summer. And, getting outdoors for some workouts along Chicago’s beautiful lakefront!
I currently train clients one-on-one at H.E.R.O. Fitness in Lincoln Park on most days of the week. I also run “Camp David” a high-intensity, fat-burning Boot Camp geared toward helping clients trim inches off their waists!
I've been a fitness buff for years now, but this wasn't always the case. I was 17 years old when I first had the desire to be physically fit - I dreamed about being able to run one mile to school - problem was I couldn’t run at all at the time! Back in 2003, my partner at the time convinced me to join a gym and start working out. So, I started exercising and became hooked INSTANTLY. I began to feel stronger and more capable than ever before. Running a mile is easy now. What I’ve realized is my passion for fitness had been there all along, I just needed some help to figure that out. Now, 8 years later, it’s my mission to help others find their individual paths to fitness.
